Rome's
obvious thrust is mock melee combat, where we have even more fun than
the ancient Romans. We take a Roman approach to it, to duplicate their
success.
We operate as a team,
in "Legions" to achieve that success. Each Legion has a "Commander,"
usually the person who recruited them. We have ranks, and a command
structure.
We operate
militarily, but we're not the military. The command structure helps
ensure that the most experienced fighters call the shots on the
battlefield. This means more victories. And more fun at battles for
Rome's mighty Legions.
The rank requirements to the right
are all excerpts from Rome's
Guidelines and Structure, the "Mos
Maiorum."
